Flyers Shamed At Home In 5-1 Loss To Pittsburgh Penguins

The Philadelphia Flyers were the first to strike Saturday night, hosting the penguins. Danny Briere roofed the puck over a sprawling Brent Johnson. After that, it was all Penguins.

Sidney Crosby scored two power play goals as the Penguins marched through the Wells Fargo Center and took advantage of the Flyers for taking too many penalties. Having to defend two 5-on-3 scenarios is always costly, for any team, but this was a lopsided loss which will no doubt lead to some serious adjustments.

The Battle for Pennsylvania series is now tied at 1-to-1 out of 6.
